@whimsicalocean There is nothing sappy about Hurricane Katrina, which made landfall at Waveland and Bay St. Louis. Many lives were lost and Waveland was wiped off the map. We may hear more about New Orleans, where the levies broke, but Michael's home town took the direct hit. If you consider a grandson's love for his grandparents sappy, then no one can help you.

I think he's one of the best (fightng gravity would come in a close second), but I hated the way the judges kept telling him he's needed this and that. Sorry, but he had a mullet without his hat. I see his hat and closing his eyes an extension of his music. he's amazing just the way he is. He doesn;t need to lose his hat, it's part of who he is and the music he doea. Beyond excellent.

While the Henderson, Nevada, singer bares his heart on his sleeve when performing, Grimm does have a secret passion -- stamp collecting.
"I have so many," he says. "That's how I get my mind off things. I love looking at them, sorting them, finding little treasures. I've always loved stamps and when you enjoy them, you are enjoying the art. I can spend my life looking through these things."

@TheHarveysgirl Thank you so much for your prayers and kind words!!! YES, Michael's music strikes a cord in my heart... He soothes my soul and words could NEVER begin to explain what his music has done for me. He acts like my son Trever did, so kind and mellow. YOU DON'T KNOW ME, is a song my Dad used to sing and so this song brings back many many happy memories :))) Dad and I used to sing together and alot of the songs we sang are the ones MG sings... I get goosebumps (Godbumps) when I hear MG.
